My son has had menjugate and prevnar. BC Health doesn't cover it either but I heard that one of them was going to be covered for children born after a certain date.
It is quite expensive roughly $200 for both shots and its done 4 times like Debbie said in her post.
My son had no side affects at all with any of them and he has had 3 series so far. I think the benefits far out way the risks to this vaccine and would highly recommend you having it done.
