If she is not going to bed with it, I would just try to give her a sippy cup instead and then when she gets good at it, later switch to a regular cup. He gets a sippy cup for meals throughout the day but I give him a bottle before bed. He just recently started drinking from a cup. I have been trying since about 5 months old. He used to scream and cry and throw the cup off his highchair. Then one day he took it no problem. He was just about 11 months old.
