She has never been a big eater and is just now really starting to eat well. I took away the pacifier at 8 mos. cold turkey and it was the best thing I did. She has never held the bottle herself(she refuses), so I thought that would make it simple. When she's hungry and won't eat table food though, she will cry until I give her a bottle. My thought was since I know she can do a cup I should just get rid of the bottle. I will be glad to be rid of them:) Good luck and keep us posted.

If she is able to drink out of a cup just fine, then I would just quit cold turkey or it is going to be even harder to get rid of the bottle later. I don't really like the way it looks when I see a 3-year-old drinking a bottle.
