It’s hard on any new mother when your baby cries, whatever the cause is called. I found with a colicy baby that holding her ‘draped’ over my forearm with one of her arms each side and one of her legs each side and her head cupped in my hand sometimes tried to soothe her. And walking around seemed to work better than holding her while seated. I hope someone is sharing the soothing duties with you as it can be a trying time. Thankfully it passes relatively fast, even if it doesn’t feel like it now. Best wishes.
