Older child feeling left out

Its my daughters birthday in a week. I have not made a big deal of it as its only her first birthday and shes not going to remember much or understand what it is.

My oldest daughter who is almost 7 said to me the other day "Why does Casey get everything and i don't?" And she had prober right moan about who gets what. I explained that actualy she gets more than the baby. She had the hump becase i brought the baby new trainers, Nikki had new ones a few weeks back, Now shes saying everyone going to buy casey presents next week and she wont get nothing.....

So i thought if i brought her somthing small she wont feel so left out??
Id hate the fact she will resent us over this and i don't want to leave her out or that she feels shes been left out.

This has all came to a total supprise to me as theres not been one bit of jealousy since the baby was born, Why would it start now?
I always treat them both the same, well if im honest Nikki always get a bit more as shes much older etc. Im really confused..

Any ideas?
