Hi Kelly,

I haven't been a situation like this with my mother because thank God both my mother and father were very loving parents, but if I were you I would take her into my home even if your mother came back to your house and tried to take her back. She is now over 18 so she does not have to live with her. Also, if your mother keeps going to your house trying to take her out of there even after warning her several times and advising her to get help and still does not, then I know this sounds horrible but I would threaten to call the police. I feel so bad for her.

I wish you both the best of luck. Keep us posted.
