my son is the same way. very inteligent never sleeps early bloomer...the docter said that this was normal for gifted children. he figured out at 6 months that if he stacked toys up in his crib he could stand on them and crawl out! he crawled at 5 months, talked at 6 months, and has NEVER slept through the night....i feel your pain.
