: our child is 18 months old and nevers sleeps through the night. she will wake anyway from 3 to 10 times a night. she is very hyperactive child and very smart she is quick to learn things. she started creeping at the age of 7mths. i feel i am going mad my wife dont get up to her at nights she refuses. i work long hours being self employed. can some body help.

Hi Sid, I have the same exact experiences with my little girl as well. She is 11mos. She is up anywhere between 7-10 times a night. It's HORRIBLE! My husband and I are both up all through the night taking turns in and out of her room. Most of the times she just wakes and fusses a little bit and it's a matter of putting her nini back in her mouth and she goes back to sleep but sometimes she gets up and decides she wants to stay awake and play for a while. She has been this way since she was an infant. It's exhausting!

She is EXTREMELY active while awake..it worries DH and I because we are so afraid she is going to be hyper-active. (God help us)...LOL!

I dont have any suggestions, I've tried everything, but it's good to know that DH and I arn't the only ones up 50 times through the night.

Good luck.

Jennifer S.
