Thanks, yes insurance is helping and also the health dept. Thank goodness. I would like to hear from other mothers who have had babies with protein allergies. I have 2 other children, and none had problems like this one.

: : Hi, I have a 6 week old that was put on Neocate last week. He was in the ICU for 2 weeks after he was born, and has been on 3 different formulas, including Nutramigen. He has blood in his stools, and cultures were negative so the ped gastro doc thinks he has a protein allergy. What is a normal looking bowel movement for babies on Neocate? His is dark green with yellow seedy things in it. I cant tell if there is blood in them still or not. I would like to hear from people who have had the same problems with their babies. He is not going to the bathroom near as much now. Hope to hear from you soon.
