: My first daughter never said nothing apart from mummy daddy and la-la (from the teletubbies) lol, She used to point at things and make a sound, She did this intill she was around 18/19 months then her speech developed and she said more and more words. I watched a program once and they said a child develops speech vocal cords at 2 years old, Im not too sure if thats true maybe Elizabeth or Rownda will know.
: But i think your son is fine he'll talk when hes ready. All kids do things at differnt times.
: Good Luck

My youngest DD Mackenzie(20mths) says Dada, here(which comes out He-a)She was saying Mama but hasnt for a long time now.Boo hoo. She babbles and what not, but I too was worried b/c my middle DD(5 almost 6) is going thru speech therapy. So I talked to Cheyenne's therapist about Mackenzie and she said it wasnt a big concern YET, but to keep a ear(hehe) on it and just sound everything out. 'here is your CUP''look at the DOG' ETC. and don't speak for her, that was another thing she said "do her sisters speak for her?" I do notice that I do tho. Can't help it sometimes.Anyway, Let us know and I'll let you know what's happening with Mackenzie.
