My sister had a baby in 1992 at 24 weeks. Her daughter weighed 2 1/2 lbs. Today she is 11 years old and doing great. She stayed in the hospital for about 3 months after birth. She did not have any surgerys.

So, yes it is definitely possible for this little baby to survive without a lot of health problems.

Pray, pray, pray!!!!! Pray to God to give this baby the strength it needs to survive. Just pray.

I wanted to know if anyone has had a early baby and if her baby was going to be ok. He is 2pds. and 7oz. And she delivered him in about 7 hours is that usual?
