My dd would drink milk out of a bottle but not a cup. I would sometimes put a little bit of Nestles chocolate powder into my dd cup of milk and then she would drink quite a bit. Then she eventually started drinking plain milk out of her cups. I bet in another month or so he will be drinking well from a cup. He's prob. getting enough from you. If he was thirsty enough I'm sure he would drink something. I wouldn't worry.
