Are we feeding are newborn too much?

Our baby is 5 days old now and she is doing well. The problem we are having is the only way we are able to calm here down is by feeding her. She will sleep for 3 to 4 hours, wake up a little fussy. We then change her diaper (which she hates.)After this she attempts to suck on anything that gets close to her face. My wife will then breast feed 15 minutes a side. Even after breast feeding she will cry and carry on, still looking to suck on anything. We have found that the only way to calm her is by giving her a bottle which she will drink up to another 4 ounces. We have tried a pacifier but she will suck on it for only a minute and then cry again. Can anyone help us?
