My daughter at 5 days was drinking 3oz about every 3 hours or so. She is now going to be 3 mos. on the 26th and is on 6oz! She is sort of sleeping through the night, but will wake once to eat again. I say feed on demand, but also try to calm her when she cries instead of sticking a bottle in her face. She may find that to be routine. Also, invest in a pacifier. They need to suck on something, and it doesn't necessarily have to be a bottle.
If it has been about 2-3 hours, then feed again. My daughter was 8# 7oz at birth and as of today is 14# 8oz! My son was 9# 2oz at birth and will be 2 in October and is around 29-30#'s.
