It's gonna be a long year for me, I think. : In parenting news, My 4 year old makes football picks in our family football pool and he won this week!! It's fun to watch him sit in front of the computer, manipulate the mouse and click on the team he wants. As a computer guy, I just swell with pride watching what he's able to do. For those of you with very young children, just wait until you see how amazing these little creatures are! Phil, I know what you mean about kids being so amazing. My 3-year-old amazed me twice today. She knows how to work my Digital Voice System and picks up my headphones and listens to the doctors speak. When she put the headphones down, she was able to tell me some big words that the doctors were saying. I was shocked because not even my family understands what they are saying and she was able to tell me the words. She also knows how to add small numbers. Another thing that was amazing was that today she told me "Mommy you are my little angel" I said awww how sweet. She then said, "come here, give me a big hug and then started telling me "mommy, thank you for always cooking me good meals and playing with me." It is neat how kids really appreciate things.
