I wouldn’t feel bad about the delay in getting announcements out. Anyone on your list who’s a parent will sympathise with how draining (physically and financially) having a baby can be. I’m sure they will be delighted if they see a photo of your 6 month old in the Christmas cards. If you want people to be able to see more photos, consider getting a free online birth announcement!
