: My Niece has hit her head atleast 6 times at my house i just bought new furniture and it's dangerouse.. I was once told that you have to keep a baby who hits it's head awake for a couple hours.. Is it true?.. Someone resently tole me it was an old tale but i'm not sure and i dont want to take a chance i need to know soon please help......

I always got told that babies should stay awake after they hit their head, but when my daughter split her head open after walking into a corner of a door the amblance woman said she can go to sleep!! my daughter was only 2 at the time and i was like "aint they suppose to stay awake after abang to the head"?, She said nah...
But i kept her awake anyway, even when my 13 month old has a bang i dont let her sleep either.
LOL so i dunno whats true either

Kelly
