Amanda, both of my babies were/one is, one now on Neocate. I used/use this as their main diet because everytime I tried real food, they would fill with mucus. The Neocate fills them up just fine, I wonuldn't worry about it. In fact, I kept my youngest on neocate only until about 1 1/2 yrs old, fortunately his sister is doing better with a few solids, but many her diet is Neocate as well. If you need to email me with any questions feel free! Leora PS, is your baby being treated for "reflux" as well. This causes mucus to the point of being in the chest that you think baby has pneumoina or something!

: I was just wondering if any other parents have babies that are on Neocate and have had trouble with them being able to eat solid foods. My son will be 7 months old and has had a horrible cold for 2 months now and we are going to give him just formula for a week because we are suspecting food allergies. I would appreciate any info available. Thanks.
