: when i compare my baby with babies her age, she seems slightly smaller....and this has been a source of concern to me. How can i determine if my baby is growing normally in size?

The doctor will usually tell you a percentage on the charts. She should be 50% or higher or 50th percentile or higher. If she is below that, than she is small for her age.
