11 month old waking up

I was wondering if anyone has had a similiar experience. My 11 month old daughter is a very good sleeper, but for the past week she has been waking up 3 to 4 times a night screaming/shrieking like something is wrong. I go in and comfort her, but as soon as i lay her down she screams. She just cut 4 teeth,could this be the problem or does anyone think it could be something else? Any suggestions? Is there something else I could do to comfort her? Thanks!
