I found this worked... Before leaving her for long periods i would only leave the house for 10 mins and come back, This showed her that i was not leaving her and would come back, over time i left for longer periods each time. Although she did cry when i first left but then once she relised i was always gonna come back she was much happier with the sitters.

Now shes 17 months. when i go out she waves and says Bye bye, Awwww!
I cannot not belive it, shes like a differnt child now.
