I have a 19 month old and a newborn. I am planning on doing the ferber method for my 19 month old because life has become somewhat unbearable and I dread evenings. She has no consistent bedtime and the only way she falls asleep is by taking a bottle and having me rock her. Then I have to wait until she is "asleep enough" before putting her in the crib. She wakes at least once per night.... I need some encouragement. I can bearly stand her crying more than one minute let alone what it might take with the Ferber method. Has anyone "ferberized" a baby as old as 19 months? Will it be harder b/c she is older????
