I 've read a lot about babywise and was amazed what i found out. for one, do you eat on a schedule? a baby who is used to a constant flow of nutrition in the womb is supposed to eat at a certain time now?a baby's stomach is very small & can't wait three hours when they are that young. Letting them cry to sleep- i've heard will work eventually, but not until after many hours of crying on both ends. You probably feel horrible when you hear your baby cry and don'tgo to her, because it's your instinct to go to her. If you stop listening to that instinct, what are you left with? all it does is cause mistrust, read what Dr. Sears says about it and his solutions to your problem also. it makes sense. Try to set up a ritual at the same time every night to get her used to it, feed her when she needs it, she will grow out of needing to eat so often. good luck, remember when she cries she is communicating with you-that's the only way she knows how! if you ignore that she will mistrust.
