: I was too wimpy to continue the Ferber method with my son when he was two. What I did was lay with him in his bed until he fell asleep. I tired of that pretty quickly and began rewarding him for falling asleep on his own. He was a little older than your daughter so I don't know if this will work for you.
: The first day after he fell asleep by himself, I allowed him to rent any movie (within reason) that he wanted. The second day I took him to the dollar store to but him a new toy. Each night befor he went to bed, I told him what he would get if he went to sleep by himself.
: On the third day, we began making a paper link chain. After 3 links, he received a surprise. I only had to do that once, after 5 nights he stopped asking to put a link in his chain!
: The first night was pretty bad with him crying, but after that things improved.
: Good Luck!
