: This is an embarrasing question. My daughter is almost 7 months old and still sleeps in her car seat. She has a cronic cough and is constanting choking. Will this damage her back? I have twin boys who are now 22 months. They both slep in there car seats until they were 9 months old because of reflux. They are fine now with no back ploblems. A little hint when you try to put your child in the crib, it will be difficult at first. She will cry and will not accept the new way to sleep. This only last a short time, a few days, then it gets alot better. Hope this helps
