My son is eight months now. He did this at about six months too. It was hard!!! I tried not nursing him at night, but I finally gave in and he would fall asleep in less than five minutes. To calm him at night, I started having my husband put him to bed and get up with him at least once each night (usually the midnight wake-up). This helped a little. Basically, he stopped after a few weeks.

He was waking at 12 and 3 or 4. I dont' want to scare you, but he is still waking earlier than he used to (6am). He now wakes around 4 or 5, nurses and goes back to sleep til around 7. He's teething right now (and has been for at least a month), so maybe that has something to do with it.

Anyway, good luck, hope this helps. Remember, this will probably pass soon.
