: My daughter is 3 weeks old and has acne on her face and it seems like there should be something that I can do.Any suggestions??? Thanks

I read everything on the Internet that I could find regarding baby acne. I was so concerned when my (now 8-week old) daughter first showed signs of acne at 4/5 weeks. Even though I knew it was baby acne and read that wasn't anything I could do about it but let it take its course, I decided to call my baby's pediatrician and make an appointment that day to be seen. The pediatrician said that she had just read an article in a medical journal regarding baby acne and that it could be related to a fungal infection. The pediatrician gave me some samples of a ant-fungal cream and instructions to rub it on Jordan's face twice a day. After 24 hours I saw an immediate improvement. The baby acne is almost completely gone. There is still a mild roughness on the skin but the few small bumps are no longer red and blotchy.

For all you mothers out there… I hope that this information helps you and your little one.
