Thanks for your advice! What I learned is that there's no one way to approach the situation, and that makes me feel good because I, too, feel it's too early to force her to sleep on her own. So many people think it's the "only way to to," but I'm just not comfortable with it. She sleeps in her own crib in our room, and I love it that she's close to us. I love rocking her to sleep, and will continue to do it. I think that I'll look into The Baby Whisperer and also start a routine (like a bath, etc.). Thanks again!
: Our 7 week old daughter will not go to sleep unless we are holding and rocking her. I feel like she's too young to "cry herself to sleep" at night, but I don't want her to become over-reliant on our getting her to sleep either. Any advice?
