LOL, LOL. Sorry, but you have to admit it is cute. He has found a piece of his independence and is taking advantage of it. That is so cute. My little guy did that too at first. Does he have a favorite toy that would be suitable to go to bed with him? Don't try tickle me elmo, we did that - big mistake, lol. Maybe he would play with his toy in bed until he fell asleep. I put my little guy in his bed and leave a small night light on. I go in the next room but he can hear me so he feels secure in knowing I am right there. He sometimes takes a while to fall asleep but he eventually does. Sometimes I hear him saying "Boingy, boingy, boingy" and when I go in he is jumping on his bed the little stinker. Lori K

It takes time for them to get used to the whole bed idea and realizing that they can get out of it whenever they want that someone isn't going to put up railings and they will end up stuck in there in the morning. Hopefully your little guy will soon get used to it. You are a good mom so I am sure things will work out fine. Take care and good luck.
