: Hi there. I get excema on my wrists, armpits, eyelids and fingers and the one thing they all have in common is they are all the result of allergies. When I eliminate the cause , the excema goes away. Have you tried this ? My allergies are metal related. It seems I am allergic to all metals except for gold. This includes the zinc in deodorant and the metal they use to produce that nice shimmering effect in make up and powders. Allergies are just a thought but if you haven't looked into it it is a great place to start. Even my husband stopped getting excema just by changing his shampoo.
: Good luck Claire. I know from experience just how painful excema can be.

Dear Claire
My daughter who like you is 15 years old first had excema aged 3 when she developed asthma. The excema affected her inner elbows, knees, legs. She has always had a dry skin. We realised that diet affected the excema - she is allergic to cow's milk, tomatoes, food colourings. Last year I started giving her a daily dose of a herbal food supplement called Intra - have you heard of it, it is available from independent distributors in the U.S. Within a few weeks not only was her skin clear (all excema gone!) but also her asthma has improved immensely.
She still has a dry skin but no longer itches and scratches with excema.
Hope this helps.
