Minxie, It sounds like your baby boy is actually doing very extremely well for his age, sleeping from 7pm to 1am then waking again at 5am. Most babies at this age will wake 3 - 4 hourly for feeding overnight. By about 3 months the average baby is capable of sleeping approx 8 hours between feeds overnight. Then at around 6 months an average baby is capable of sleeping 10 - 12 hours overnight. If you can try to encourage more day time sleep for your little one. Then rest as much as possible when he sleeps. Over a 24 hour period he would require approx 16 hours sleep.
