: I also have a 2 1/2 old who used to be a great sleeper. However, as of 4 months ago he gets up every 1/2hr to 2 hrs. He doesn't always scream he just comes into our room and says he wants to look at Daddy. He is okay with us carrying him back to bed. I am exhausted. I have an older child too so I have not slept through the night in 6 years. We have tried the Ferber method and it does not work on this one. My husband and I are taking turns sleeping on his floor so the other can get some sleep. This may coincide with getting molars but I didn't have this much trouble with the older child. This second child is a creature of habit -- very obstinant, agressive, loud. Any ideas?
