Have any of you dealt with a baby who rolls over in the middle of the night and wakes up? I generally put Hannah down on her side because she seems more comfortable that way. Since I started doing that she's sleeping a LOT more than when I put her on her back. However, she seems to have this compulsion sometimes to roll from her side onto her stomach either while awake or when she's asleep. She'll do it if we put her on her back too. She'll sleep for a little while that way, but rarely for more than an hour before she wakes up. Despite the fact that she started rolling from her front to back about two weeks ago, when she wakes up on her stomach, she cries. Last night she went down at 7:45 and woke up at 9:30 and 12:30, each time on her stomach. Both times she went back down with just a minute of rocking, but it was interrupted sleep for her. We've tried putting a chock behind her and/or in front of her. If one is in front of her she seems uncomfortable. One in back of her seems to help because she can lean back on it, but then she also has a problem because she can't roll over in her sleep to her other side. Hannah - 5/18/02
