Hi Steve
This can be normal behavior when a child is teething and it usually passes once the teeth break through. Did the pediatrician look at her gums? It's difficult for anyone to predict just how long it will take for teeth to break though, every baby is so different.

Teething is often blamed for any unsettled behavior at this age. Is she bothered by teething pain when she is awake? It's unlikely that teething will only cause her pain during the night. If she's quite happy during the day then possibly teething is not the cause of her frequent night waking.
