Steve, I really dont know where you're coming from, and will chalk it up to you being tired. When I said I had no answers I meant that I had/have the same problem and I think we all do and that I sympathize w/you and you wife because I know what you are going through. I was trying to give you some last chance suggestions (ie. ear pain, car seat, changing to Tylenol, etc.) By the way, I don't think Rowena was saying that nursing "takes the pain away", I believe she was saying the same thing that you are saying regarding comfort but that the baby is not dealing w/her pain issues by nursing. Rowena is very knowledgable. Both of my kids were CONSTANT cryers from birth. I mean 18 out of 24 hrs a day. They are needy and high maintenance and I always wondered if there was something else wrong. There was not, after tons and tons of testing and dr.'s after dr's after dr.'s it was just them, thank god. The only other "experence" I can offer you is the same one that I personally did, if YOU and your WIFE think there might be something else wrong with her, TAKE HER TO THE DOCTORS. I dont post on this board often, but I do look quite frequently and I noticed some other "intolerent" messages posted by you. We are all here for each other, lets refrain from taking pot shots. If you have another experience you'd like to share I'm sure we'd all like to hear it, but we all cant agree all of the time, so if you disagree with someone elses parenting style or suggestions, rather than taking pot shots, keep it to yourself and maybe we can all get along. : I never asked for answers. I asked for other parents' experiences with teething. I'm concerned that teething might not be Hannah's only problem.
