That makes sense. Unfortunately it's not practical for us. My mother-in-law does our daycare in our home. Our crib is on the 2nd floor but she has arthritis and has a little trouble with the stairs. She can do them but she has to use a hand on the banister. I don't want her carrying Hannah up and down the stairs while struggling. So ... the Pack and Play is downstairs and available for naps. Oh well .. another problem we're causing, eh? LOL! : I believe that a baby should associate sleep with the same place everytime. I understand the need for playpens once in awhile but I really think it's best if you keep it to their crib as much as possible. Also, make sleep a good thing - when you are tucking your little one in say something like "It's time to go nighty-nights and when you wake up you will feel all refreshed etc" (that is what I use for my daughter)
