: HI...MY SON IS JUST OVER 3 MONTHS OLD. HE SLEEPS ON AND OFF THROUGH OUT THE DAY BUT I FEEL AS THOUGH IT IS TIME TO GET HIM ON SOME TYPE OF NAPPING SCHEDULE. DOES ANY ONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS? IS IT EVEN REALLY NECESSARY TO MAKE SURE HE NAPS IN THE SAME PLACE AT THE SAME TIME EVERYDAY? MOST DAYS WE ARE ON THE GO AND HE SLEEPS IN THE CAR OR IN THE STROLLER WHILE WE ARE OUT WALKING. Hi, my name is Amy and I have a two year old and a 3.5 month old. I found with both early on they would nap pretty much anywhere. The only downfall of them napping all the time on the go,they get used to falling asleep in "motion" ie. in the car or stroller. Then when you try to put them in bed, then they have trouble settling down. Don't underestimate the need for good nap time. If your child can nap anywhere at any time great. As he/she gets older they may need to nap in one place, just to ensure a good nap time. As far as a schedule, it will usually fall into place naturally. My older son, fell into a schedule, my youngest one I have to look for his sleepy cues, rubbing his eyes, yawning and the such. Sorry it got so long. Hope it helps. Amy
