Yeah .. we do that, or at least we try. I'm a nightowl anyhow and have a hard time falling asleep early. So, I take her up until 1am or so and she belongs to my wife after that. It's tough, though, because when I hear that pain cry I end up jumping out of bed and seeing what's the matter whether it's my turn or not. One thing I've seriously considered is sleeping in the guest room for a few hours a night. Hannah has been ending up in our bed quite a lot lately and as I mentioned in my original post, I don't sleep well with her in the bed. It's better that she's there than having us jump up over and over again to try to settle her, but it doesn't lead to very good sleep.
