Hi Steve! Ouch! It sounds like you've had quite a few rough nights - actually, more like you, Hannah and your wife! I think the tag-teaming can work really well if you're both into it. If your wife doesn't have a problem falling asleep while nursing your daughter perhaps that is when you can move into the guest room. (I'm not an advocate of a child sleeping in the same bed as the parents' but desperate times call for desperate measures.) Remember your little one is probably in quite a bit of pain and although your tired at least you can say "DAMN I'M TIRED"! All she can do is cry! This too will end.. I promise.
