: When does the spitting up end? I burp my eight week old son for at least a half hour after feedings, some times he's fine and at others he is spitting up formula. Not a lot, but enough to make a mess. Interestingly, he rarely spits up when fed during the night or in the early morning. Twice it has come up his nose and has scared him (and me). I have also noticed that some times when he passes gas he will spit up a bit...I wonder if he is just using all of his little muscles at once. Any ideas? sounds like acid reflux u may need ot swich formulas and amybe get medical help for it
