When to take out the brace that keeps them from rolling over when sleeping?

I still have it in the crib so Jack can't roll over at night. He scoots out of it a lot (out of the bottom between the rolls!) by morning. I just wondered when was a good time to take the brace out.

I am such a chicken...I know when I do take it out, I am going to be up all night checking him to make sure he is breathing! He hasn't rolled over on his own yet, but you know Murphy's Law...he will do it at night in the crib after I take the thing out!! LOL!

TIA
Beth
