My son is ONE and is 29 inches long and weighs 18.5 lbs. My sisters baby, born the end of August...so ALMOST 4 months old is 18.5lbs and 26 inches long. At this point in time, her doctor is not concerned, nor is mine.

I think the most important thing is how the baby is developing, not their weight...ie. developmental milestones. If everything else is fine, which I'm sure it is, as all babies develop at their own pace (just like weight), I would not be to concerned.
