I was thinking about the crying thing after posting my last message. Alex has always been a fusser / crier. Early on it was related to her tummy isses. And, she screamed in the car a lot. And then she started to resist every effort to put her to sleep, including nursing, and would fuss and cry no matter what we did. There was a time when I was affraid to be alone with her in because Dad was the only one who could get her to sleep (isn't that sad?). It was awful. As a result, I think I've developed a fairly high tollerance for fussing, and maybe that's why it doesn't rip my heart out to put her down and let her fuss a bit. She fusses either way.

Anyway, I don't know 'bout you guys, but I'm so tired of thinking so hard about the whole sleep issue, with mixed results and unpredictability night after night after night. Or, maybe I'm just plain tired.

Best to all of you....
