That is so true. The minute I said that Hana started sleeping through the night she started waking up (once a night but it takes around 2 hrs until she is back to sleep)... they just change so much. Reading your story and how much Hannah fussed scared me! I am not even sure if I want to try it (as we still rock our baby to sleep), I am almost ready to continue what I am doing until she decides that she does not want us to rock her any more:) Anyone heard of when they start doing that? and that that ever happen? About Hannah - I am just curious how does she fall asleep during the day (since you never mention this)? Do you have to do same thing of letting her cry or it is a little bit easier? : I'm still concerned about this screaming issue. We're going to try this method for a week or so and see how it goes. My hope is that Hannah eventually gets a clue that after that feeding it's bedtime and she needs to go to sleep. That angry shrieking cry is killing me and it doesn't sound healthy. I'm not really sure she's putting herself to sleep so much as passing out after expending so much energy.

: This happens every time I post some success with Hannah. She had a less than spectacular night last night. She went down as mentioned in the previous post, but then woke up at 11:30pm (went back to sleep after about 20 minutes of screaming), 2am (went down after a feeding and a little crying), 3:30am (went down after a half hour of shrieking) and 6am (carried into bed with us as she usually is at that hour). That's horrendous.
