Melanie, Sorry it took me so long to post back but both my kids have been sick for the last two weeks and I really have not had a chance to write a somewhat long post.

My son turned one in November. At about 11 mos I started to wean him. We weaned to Enfamil, like you. I gradually titered the amount of Neocate down and the amount of Enfamil up until he was totally on Enfamil, just as you are doing. This took about a month and a half. With each titer, I prepared all his bottles the same for about a week, and then made the next change. He was totally weaned........THEN, afte about a week of total Enfamil, he started refluxing like a champ again, fussy, crying, sleep issues, etc. so, I went to Prosobee/Isomil Soy...and made the full change immediately. First bottle no problem. This lasted about a week. The pediatrician said he can probably handle some milk protein but not a total diet of it, which was fine at this point. THEN, same thing happened on the soy formula exactly. Last ditch effort....and MUCH CHEAPER....I went to ENFAMIL NEXT STEP SOY...FOR INFANTS OVER ONE......HE JUST LOVES IT AND HAVE NOT HAD A PROBLEM IN TWO WEEKS. Once again, after discussing w/pediatrician, it had something to do w/the soy protein.....NEXT STEP, has less because more nutrition is coming from food. Isomil also makes a formula called ISOMIL 2.....ingredients are somewhat different, so I stuck w/the Enfamil. Didnt want to rock the boat.

Sorry this is so long...GOOD LUCK. Keep me posted. Direct email is dechnith@hotmail.com.
