I would not be worried that your baby does not eat much and still is gaining weight fine. My little one is the same way. She was 16lb at her 6 months check up - which is fine considering that she has never been a good eater. 24 oz of formula in 24 hrs was a GREAT DAY for us. And still is. For a longer period of time (probably when she was around 4-5 months) she was eating between 15-20 oz and still gaining weight very well.

Hope this helps

: Hi! My 4 month old baby is 25 inches and 18 lbs. My Doctor says that he is overweight and that I should feed him less often. My son drinks only about 24 ounces a day and sometimes even less, this has been the case since his 2nd month and he stills gains weight. What should I do? He has no appetite even after 4 or 5 hrs. I asked my Dr. abt this, but she is just concerned abt his weight. Could anything be wrong with him? Please help me.
: Priya
