: Hi! My 4 month old baby is 25 inches and 18 lbs. My Doctor says that he is overweight and that I should feed him less often. My son drinks only about 24 ounces a day and sometimes even less, this has been the case since his 2nd month and he stills gains weight. What should I do? He has no appetite even after 4 or 5 hrs. I asked my Dr. abt this, but she is just concerned abt his weight. Could anything be wrong with him? Please help me.

Hannah, I know that you have heard from a lot of us on this issue. I agree that your son isn't over weight. We go this tues to the Dr. and my son is four months also and I am sure that when we go he will be close to the same wt as your son. I was wondering, Does your son sleep thru the night? When you were describing your son's eating habits it sounded a lot like my little boy. I was just curious. I have been worried that he wasn't eating enough. But by the looks of things he is. He healthy and gaining wt. Let me know. Thanks Amy
