Steve, it sounds like Hannah's starting to know that she can settle herself. That's terrific. Alex goes back and forth, and hasn't really sunk her teeth into the whole concept yet. Some nights are a DREAM other nights - not so much. But, overall a large improvement from the every 2 hours thing that we were doing.

Anyway... on the books, I feel the same way you do. I want so much to sit quietly in the chair with her and read books before bed, but it just makes her nuts. So, I'll take a que from you and read to her earlier in the day. Dad's been doing that. I'm just stuck on the bedtime story thing because I loved it so much as a child and I'm anxious to share that with my own.
