It's probably the soy ingredients found in most commercial baby foods that is bothering your baby. That's what bothered my daughter (MSPI). I found an all natural brown rice cereal with no soy ingredients, made by Healthy Times. Also, pears are easy to digest. At 7 months my daughter can eat very few solids. And at this point, they aren't necessary.

I've found that most pediatricians have their heads up their fannies on issues of food intollerance / alergy. Which is so frustrating - you pay them and then have to educate them about the whole thing.
