I had 2 children on Alimentum they both just came off my son is 3 and has been on it and my daughter is now 1 and she was lucky to be able to come off it I have several cases of ready to feed and some powdered email me if you are interested. : : : Thanks Michelle. I do bid on the formula on EBay, but the buy price (when you consider shipping) typically goes higher than what I can get it for. : : : : Go to ebay. Search under Alimentum. There are current auctions for $12.oo/can and some for even less.... : : : : : : : Sorry I couldn't have read this sooner. First of all Alimentum ordered and shipped from SIMILAC is only 9.00 per can approximately 52 - 56 per case of six. Secondly I have a 15 month old who still requires the use of alimentum due to his Milk Allergy, & Soy Allergy. Don't give up Health Insurance Covers it call them and find out where you have to buy the formula from for it to be covered. You need to speak to you pediatrician about the paperwork that you will need like a letter of necessity and a prescription. Don't give up because first they will try and deny you but it is considered a medical necessity not a parental decision (like who would want to pay that kind of money for no reason) Please write me if you need an resources. I also now have a 5 week old that requires the use of Neocate Formula because he is so allergic he can not even tolerate Alimentum and this stuff is 160 per case of 4 cans.

: : : : : My daughter has been diagnosed with a dairy protein allergy, and the doctor has put her on Alimentum. This stuff is SO expensive! If anyone has any unopened leftover cans that I could buy or knows how I can get some (for cheaper than $22/can), please advise. She's eating us out of house & home. Thanks.
: : How old is your daughter? You might be able to relactate and that is ALOT cheaper if you have trouble getting enough Alimentum. I don't know about a dairy allergy though so I'm not sure if that could help but breastmilk is lactose free and very easy on the stomache. You might even be able to get some from a milk bank. Good Luck.
